Nanofiltration research in 2026: from laboratory membranes to selection

Distinguish experimental methods, model feed solutions and test scale from purchasable NF element data. Use research to frame questions about selectivity, fouling and maintenance; do not copy paper results into equipment specifications.

A new membrane-material paper can help frame selection questions. It cannot directly predict site permeate flow or removal performance. An experimental membrane, a commercial element and a complete system are different levels of evidence.

The scope of a 2026 study

An original paper published in npj Clean Water in May 2026 studied how centrifugal thin-film deposition affected polyamide nanofiltration membranes, with tests involving model salts, fouling and recovery conditions. Its results apply to those materials and experimental conditions. They are not Gudian equipment specifications or conclusions about drinking-water safety.

Turn research interests into purchasing questions

From research to selection
Area of interestQuestion for the supplierEvidence needed
Target componentsWhat needs to be treated or retained in the actual water sample?Analysis and intended-use requirements
Element formIs a complete model available to purchase?Product data sheet and delivery documents
Test comparabilityHow do feedwater, temperature, pressure, scale and running time compare?Reviewable test conditions and records
Long-term operationHow are maintenance, faults and spare parts handled?Actual model manual and service agreement
System integrationAre pretreatment, storage and downstream interfaces included?Process documents and project handover records

How this website describes research

Place research developments in technical information with the paper’s date and source. Product pages should continue to use actual model documents and evidence. Without a purchasable model or application validation, record that validation is pending. Do not describe research as established supply, maintenance-free operation or a universal replacement for RO.

Frequently asked questions

Does a high flux or removal result justify immediately replacing a membrane? Actual feedwater, model and system compatibility still require validation. This article does not recommend modifying installed equipment solely on paper results.

Can research findings be presented as a project case? No. A project case needs actual delivery, acceptance and permission to publish its materials.

References and scope

References checked on 9 October 2026. These are public reference materials. Gudian prepared the information checklists for project enquiries. A supplier manual does not establish a brand authorization for this website, and a paper does not show that Gudian equipment has achieved its research results.

Further preparation

Equipment and consumable requirements can first be discussed remotely. Supply, installation and site visits are confirmed for each project. Send only the equipment and water-quality information needed for the enquiry, and conceal personal contact details and sensitive third-party information in photographs.
