Thin-wall stainless steel press-fit piping: standards and compatibility

Check current standard versions for press-fit fittings, thin-wall pipe and O-ring seals separately. Confirm material, dimensions, tools and test documents for each actual model; photographs cannot establish specifications.

Review pipes, fittings and seals as a compatible assembly. Photographs help identify shapes and prepare a list, but cannot establish material grade, wall thickness, pressure rating or hygienic performance. These require documents for the actual model.

Three parts with different revision years

The official search checked on 9 October 2026 lists GB/T 19228.1—2024 for press-fit fittings, GB/T 19228.2—2011 for connecting thin-wall stainless steel pipe, and GB/T 19228.3—2012 for rubber O-ring seals as current. The 2011 edition of Part 1 is withdrawn. Do not label every part of the series as a 2024 edition.

Using existing photographs

Use shape names that can be confirmed and mark unknown fields as requiring model-specific documents. A supplier’s standards table is not proof that a product on this website conforms. A past supplier relationship is not a current brand authorization. Check each model before purchasing; installation and testing depend on the actual project and applicable requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Can all press-fit fittings be used with any thin-wall pipe? Check component dimensions, construction, seals and tools. Similar appearance does not establish compatibility.

Can the display promise no rust or lifetime maintenance-free use? An unconditional promise without evidence is inappropriate. Actual documents should define environmental suitability and maintenance.

References and scope

References checked on 9 October 2026. These are public reference materials. Gudian prepared the information checklists for project enquiries. A supplier manual does not establish a brand authorization for this website, and a paper does not show that Gudian equipment has achieved its research results.

Further preparation

Equipment and consumable requirements can first be discussed remotely. Supply, installation and site visits are confirmed for each project. Send only the equipment and water-quality information needed for the enquiry, and conceal personal contact details and sensitive third-party information in photographs.
